PLK water training and recruitment try-outs!

PLK water training and recruitment try-outs start this weekend! Saturdays 2pm-4pm; Sundays 10am-2pm.

Report at the Aljunied Boathouse at Bedok Reservoir Park. Existing team members, please come earlier to do your ergo warm-up.

If you are a newcomer and have trouble locating the boathouse, feel free to approach any of our friendly team members wearing PLK Paddlers jerseys!

What a productive circuit training at Bedok Reservoir on Sunday, 11 Jan.
Nothing like chin-ups, ergo and log presses to shake off the holiday rust!



Land training was followed by a goal-setting session to discuss PLK Workplan 2015.

PLK Paddlers Welcome 2015: Admin Matters

Dear team-mates,
I hope everyone is enjoying the long break and having a great 2015 thus far!
2014 was a good year for PLK & 2015 is gonna be even better!
Our success in 2014 would not be possible without everyone’s support and hard work. Special mention to the following individuals – Brynner (captain 2012-14), Eugene, Travis, Joerg, Luke Chong, Sam Ooi, Shiek, Yang Fei, Maggie, June, Lilian, Gavin & Steven for going the extra mile for the team.

We will be split into groups for fun circuit stations comprising ergo, kettle bells and weights. Please bring your shoes! There will be a short team bonding session following the workout i.e. spring-cleaning + team goal setting for 2015.

TRAINING UPDATE!

ALERT, IMPORTANT UPDATES

Hi Team,

In view of the unforeseen cessation of water activities at Bedok Reservoir (BR) this coming weekend, we will have land training instead! This is for existing PLK members only, not for newcomers.

Report on Sunday, 11th January 2015 @ 9.45am.
We'll be split into groups for fun circuit stations comprising ergo, kettle bells and weights.

Please BRING SHOES!

 Following workout, we will have a short team bonding session, i.e spring cleaning + team goal setting for 2015. The session will end at about 12.30pm and we'll all head for team lunch after!

WATER TRAINING TO START 17 & 18 JAN

TRAINING TO START 17 & 18 JAN -

Due to the closure of BR until 16 Jan, our water training will only resume on 17 & 18 Jan weekend (instead of the originally planned 10 & 11 Jan). Timing is the same: Sat (2-4pm), Sun (10am-12pm)

If you are bringing your friends for the first training weekend, please kindly inform Renaud or Evelyn by next weekend! 

Meanwhile, enjoy the break & keep yourself active with gym work! See you all soon!
