A Tribute Scrapbook For Mr Lee

For many of us, words cannot adequately express the depth of our emotions at his passing.
The grief upon receiving the fateful news.
The gratitude for all his sacrifices in the course of building our nation.
The inspiration for being the extraordinary man that he was.
But let us try, in our own miniscule way, to put together our thoughts in writing.

PLK Paddlers will be making a "Tribute to Mr Lee" scrapbook to be submitted before the State Funeral on 29 March. We encourage everyone to share your thoughts and tributes by doing the following:

(1) Write on an A4 paper (white or black only. No colored papers please.)
(2) Papers should be ideally 120g or above
(3) Leave a 2" margin on left of page
(4) Submit your writing during training session on 28 March

Scrapbooking materials (strings, tape, glue, markers, hole puncher) and relevant photos/ newspaper cuttings will be made available at the boathouse. We urge everyone to stay back for an hour after training this Saturday to help out with the scrapbook project.

Thank you.

We had a fun afternoon of teambuilding games after Sunday's training!

This was our first "official" team bonding event for 2015.

Thanks, Joerg, for hosting us!

Singapore World Water Day 2015

This was PLK's first race outing of 2015!
Despite the lightning alerts resulting in cancellation of Semis & Finals, we still prevailed with a
1st runner-up placing in the Premier Open 12-crew category
(based on Heats timing).

This was the first race experience for many of our PLK medal recipients.
Keep up the good work, team!

And of course, PLK race outing = wefie time! :)

LOU HEI PLK STYLE

Ushering the first training after the Lunar New Year with a Yusheng (鱼生)
It is also believed the higher you toss the ingredients, the greater your fortune will be.

We combined 2 box of yu sheng into 1 huge pile of power snack for us after our training!

A closer look of how 2 boxes of yu sheng formed into 1.

Let this year be another history making year for PLK with podium finishes in every race!
